Notes: There are currently no registered products for controlling shothole beetles on cherries. Good sanitation is the best management strategy. Remove large wood pile and prunings from the orchard. Cultural control by maintaining optimum tree vigour is important as beetles are attracted to trees weakened by drought, transplanting, disease, etc.
