Helicopter and Blower Costs - blowing off moisture on cherries

Helicopters and blowers are commonly used to blow off moisture from cherries after periods of rain. The approximate costs for these activities in 2019 were:

Helicopter - hourly rate: $1,500, cost per acre: $100

Tractor & blower - hourly rate: $150, cost per acre: $50. Two passes with blowers after heavy rains = $100/acre.

Equipment cost for blower and tractor:
